Wednesday, June 8, 2011   Congratulations to Lieutenant John M. Flaherty, and FF’s Jonas G. Adams, Jr., Anthony M. Cuozzo, Philip Marino, and Robert W. Painter, of Engine Company 63 for receiving the Lieutenant James Curran/New York Firefighters Burn Center Foundation Medal. This year’s recipients were presented with medals at a ceremony held by the FDNY, on the USS Intrepid, on June 8th 2011. We had a great turn-out that day by the members of Engine 63, Ladder 39, and the Chiefs of Battalion 15, along with family and friends, to support the medal winners. The Lieutenant James Curran/New York Firefighters Burn Center Foundation Medal was awarded to Lieutenant John M. Flaherty, and FF’s Jonas G. Adams, Jr., Anthony M. Cuozzo, Philip Marino, and Robert W. Painter, for their courage, skill, determination and teamwork displayed on July 4th 2008, at 708 E 243 street in the Bronx.
